    How to build Scout, the BalanceBot

    This tutorial covers how to build Scout, the BalanceBot. 

    If you have never used MotorGo before, you'll want to set the board up in your Arduino or Platformio environment. 

    With your software environment set up, you can follow our BalanceBot tutorial on YouTube

    The basic steps are: 

    1. Download and print our free BalanceBot design from Printables 
    2. Assemble with heat set inserts, MotorGo, IMU, and Motors (we are working on making these motors more available)  
    3. Pull our free BalanceBot code example and run it. Make sure motors are calibrated.
