Laser cut this 4 layer Scarab for christmas gift. scarub designed by Annie in Illustrator. Then Jake made it four layers and stained cut and glues the layers. black watered down acrylic paint for bottom layer. stain for second layer, nothing for 3rd layer and Yellow acrylic paint for top layer. then 2 layers of polyurethane an all the layers. then a final Tiebond III wood glue with some clamps for a day. We also made a 2 layer acrylic one. Cut on out 120W 1290 Co2 Laser.
