I always wanted to have a rack full of servers at home to play with. The thing is, that those cost lots of money, either to buy them or run them. I want to make a smaller rack with off the shelf components and some easily to fabricate components (think 3D printing). I also want to have some nice things like IPMI and hot swapping, so that is also considered in this project.

Since I love open source and open hardware, I want to give to community my designs so you can also do it your self, and hopefully improve upon.

The main goal of this project is to have affordable, easy to make, cheap to run rack full of servers with nodes aimed for different purpose (storage, cold storage, compute, network), etc.
