pretty cool innards.
Even though there are two speaker areas (front and back), there is only one speaker (so we have mono sound).
The buttons are pretty standard, AND I hope an adafruit 2.+" screen will fit the menu buttons.
The screens are really interesting, as the glass I think conducts the current and decided which images to pop up? Pretty neat.
Other than the rubber buttons and the speaker, I'm not going to keep anything of the insides.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
I wanted to keep the original battery tray, but have a lot more rechargeable power going through it.
I'll get this battery:

Split open the package, bend it until the two are end-to-end, and slice a hole in the middle battery tray for the red/black cord.

I think I owned around 15 or so of these, plus a game.com when I was a kid.
I had so many of these games. Kids these days could not handle them. lol
I had double dragon 2 and ninja turtles. I thought that the graphics on them were amazing.
I gave baseball to my 20 year old coworker, and he was completely lost.
Hmm, you could even use one of the AA-shaped LiPo batteries for power, re-using the original battery basket!
that would be cool, I would just need to daisy chain them, so they can be end-to-end. Looks more complete and would have a decent lifespan.
