Hi, as explained in this KiCad forum post, the old KiCad domain was acquired by a party not associated with the open source project.
https://forum.kicad.info/t/warning-avoid-all-links-to-kicad-pcb-org-use-kicad-org/31521
The official domain is kicad.org. A search using the phrase "kicad-pcb" (with the quotes) got 41 hits, though it's not clear to me where those hits appear in the items I have looked at.
Is it possible for an admin to do a bulk edit of those pages to ensure that the links point to the correct domain, kicad.org?
Thanks.
I would need to investigate further, but if the links do end up posing a security risk it may be a possibility. In the meantime I could message the owners of the content and recommend updating the link.
An entry on the global feed announced that a hacker had updated a page on their profile. Actually they had deleted it and the link pointed to the page with the space robotman swimming in the void. Shouldn't the announcement be suppressed in this case?
On my messages list there are some empty conversations. Perhaps the hacker tried to initiate a conversation but changed their mind. Is there a way to delete those? I don't want to block the hacker, maybe some day they might have something to say.
Also there are some deleted users on the list because they sent scam, probably to lots of people and got reported. It should be possible to delete those conversations too without using block.
Can I change my profile name (I'd like to use my name and Surname),? Does it modify my project address or create problems to my prize 2021 challenge subscription?
HI @Green-bms - There are no problems. Feel free to change your profile name. Good luck competing for the Hackaday Prize!
Howdy, y'all. Been having trouble with this for years on many different Android phones...
Code snippets don't show up in monospaced font when published... shows during edit, though! Keeps mangling my schematics, tables, and comments!
Presently Chrome on Android... But, happened in other browsers on three different phones, as well, Samsung Internet, previously, and plain ol' "Internet" on the one previous... oh, and whatever Alcatel's default browser was. Didn't point it out back then 'cause I thought it was a browser issue...
Thanks!
P.S. Here's a lovely schematic for ye!

very ugly design in small screen, I cant login on small screen
First of all: thanks for the space and the possibility you give to share my projects.
I make two remarks: the first is that views counter it seems frozen. I tested with my friends...they visited my project but the views counter stands still.
The second is a suggestion: for my opinion the logs on project page should be listed like now but with a short preview: title, date and max two lines of text....actually is too much confused .
Hi! The view totals should update daily, but there is a slight delay.
I do agree some logs are very long, but we have left it up to the owner to include a more tag (it should work on the project page). You can also collapse logs to just titles (there is a small button near the top of logs list).
You (we) can collapse the first/last ~10 logs to just titles. Beyond that....actually is too much confused.
I can imagine how a "more tag" could help moderate endless log scrolling, but I don't know how to make the thing that looks like it might be that do anything, nor do I recall any example of anyone else using it with useful effect. Maybe we all need a "more tag" tutorial?
How can I get my uploaded images to show without being cropped by your system?
It takes an hour each image to get it to show without cropping text left, right, top, or bottom.
Check the main page (not the gallery) for the project linked below for examples. Mousing over any text image shows cropped text. It looks awful, and 10 minutes of fussing with an image can't find the correct aspect ratio.

If you can tell me what width and height to use I'll use it.
I would appreciate being able to change the owner of a project to another team member, being able to remove myself from the project after if possible.
I have not seen any method for doing so. I'd wager that being able to pass the torch is an important feature for any community driven projects.
Here's proof that the system is sending out duplicate notifications. I got two emails too: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x7rrsrydy75e27j/double-notifications.png?dl=0
I do see two separate like events on different days, it's possible they accidentally un-liked and re-liked the project. But the double notification sends were from two different actions.
The "add project to" section shows the HAD section 4 (robots), should be section 5 (wildcard).
System seems to be sporadically sending out a few old notifications. I've seen a few and others have (apparently) been responding up old comments or PMs. An example might be the most recent comment in this discussion: https://hackaday.io/project/166507#discussion-list
I sometimes would like a way to 'like' log entries - to show appreciation for increments of ongoing work on a project that I've already skulled - and maybe commented on once or a few times but don't want to get too stalky about commenting on every update.
I enjoy the experience. But enabling a retraceable revision history for files, as well as enabling preview of more file formats, would let me use my project repository more actively. Somewhat like grabcad
Feature request: It would be nice to have a project status icon for each project alongside the Views, Follows and Likes on the My Projects page, so that one can see at a glance for example which have been completed (feel good), which are in progress (motivation), and which have been scrapped (lessons learnt).
That's a good one, I think status and things like date created/ last updated are almost as important as views/ follows counts.
Think this is an amazing site! But unfortunately my project (The Moncky project) doesn't show on the recent projects list (even though I configured it as public). Does anybody know what I have to do to make it appear? Thanks!
Hey @bigbat thanks for sharing your projects, very newly created account's projects don't immediately display in the recents list. (I do see all of them listed now). Because your account has been around for a bit now, newly created projects will show up immediately in any public feeds.
OK, thanks for the reply! The projects do show now. All is ok :-) Maybe this information could be added somewhere so new users can see that. Or did I completely overlook it?
The hr tag no longer works.
I added a page (link below) containing *two* horizontal rules, neither of which show up in PaleMoon (a clone of Firefox) or Chrome.
