SMD soldering to the extreme? Well this is how the first DIPSY boards for HaD Prize did got soldered per hand.

bit of solder added for the R and C that come on this side of the PCB

0402 Resistors soldered, they are lower than 0402 C, so bit easier

now the 0402 caps are soldered too from one side

both R and C are soldered, time to turn the PCB over

same story repeating, 0402 caps are soldered form one side first, for the SOT23-3 in pad has bit of solder on it

done all SMD parts are soldered

Preparing for through hole soldering, it is important to push the pins into the socket below, or they would be misaligned.

So what went WRONG ???

ANSWER, out of 4 assembled, one DIPSY got the pins inserted upside down. So the through hole soldering yield was 75%
