toy arduino apple remote ir led laser cut

This project was created on 10/12/2015 and last updated 8 years ago.

Description

This is my first try in making Toys. I am building a baby mobile with LED's which are controlled by an Arduino and an old Apple Remote. I vectorized some nice drawings, i found with google. Then i laser cut the drawings in plywood and acrylic. Three layers for each figure/drawing. Afterwards i glued the parts together and i glued a 3mm LED in the middle plywood layer. I am planing to use an Arduino (mini) and an old Apple remote to control the mobile. The remote can be used for dimming and switching on all or single LED's of the mobiles. Hopefully i can finish the whole thing until next week.

Components

  • 1 × Plywood some pieces
  • 1 × LED one for each figure
  • 1 × wires
  • 1 × Small power supply or Battery
  • 1 × Arduino (mini/nano) whatever
