Show how your project interacts with people: Human Interface contest
Mike Szczys wrote 07/08/2015 at 19:22 • 2 pointsWe're looking for 2015 Hackaday Prize Entries that move. We'll be awarding 30 gift codes for $100 in laser cutting time from Ponoko to the most interesting and well documented entries. Be proud of how you've designed your project to interact with people and enter it now. Here's how:
1. Enter your project! http://hackaday.io/had2015
2. Leave a comment here with a link to your project asking to be added to the correct list
Simple, huh? The contest is already running. You need to be on the list by Thursday, July 16th 2015 in order to be considered. Check out this post (going live on 7/9) for a few more details: http://wp.me/pk3lN-FZR
Good Luck!

It's actually a _terrible_ interface in purely practical terms, but it's the sort of gimmick the intertubes love! I present for your consideration my Word Grid Compass: https://hackaday.io/project/6642-avr-word-compass
(Like a word grid clock, only a compass!)

How do you vote exactly? I've gone to http://hackaday.io/prize/vote but it only lists two random projects. I have to keep hitting refresh to see what else is out there.

The voting you linked to is for community votes for the theme of the moment. This page is however a separate hot list which is voted by the hackaday staff.

SOPHI! Awesome meeting you in Toronto! But... I still don't get it? I'm guessing this is a "Ranked Pair" voting system?

Hi Lukster! yeah that is exactly right

I'm not sure if I qualify. I'll let you be the judge of that. My UI is all web based, there is no physical buttons or screen on my device. Being something that is designed to be installed into a roof cavity, that'd be a bit silly!
https://hackaday.io/project/4731
There it is anyway. I just posted an update on my UI.
