google placed restrictions on the geolocation API. I had better chances with Mozilla

There are services locating IP address. So if you manage to log on a Wi-Fi, and access Internet then you can ask where you are to one of those services.
For example: http://ipinfo.io/

Thanks, but I am more interested in tracking things by the surrounding WiFis rather than connecting in one place.
