RxOBOT is a robotic pill dispensing robot, built with open interfaces to enable communication and integration with other hardware and software pharmacy automation and workflow solutions. Currently available commercial pill dispensing solutions are expensive and proprietary. RxOBOT will attempt to reduce costs and improving on functionality, while increasing interoperability with other systems. RxOBOT will be modular and scalable to fit various size and throughput requirements.
