This project was born when a friend of mine approached me asking for a custom template for fusing a specific type of nylon.

Upon looking for a custom shape heat sealing device for bonding/fusing 200 denier nylon (the same fabric used in maritime equipment) we couldn't find anything to meet our requirements other than the very expensive industrial machines that are sold for big companies, so we decided to make one ourselves.
