At 15mm X 15mm, I undershot the 1 square inch by quite a bit.  I am updating the layout to utilize some of that space.  I'm adding some mounting tabs, but they will be v-scored so that you can break them off if all you want is the 15 x 15 mm NFC tag.

I had underestimated how difficult it would be to attach the uDFN package, but after a trip to the Ctrl-H Hackerspace in Portland, and some time with their soldering station I was able to get a few up and running.  Here is one with the LED lit up.

The parts and boards have been ordered.  Everything should be here this week.

I followed the reference design for one of the antennas pretty closely.  Let's see how much effect the components and connector in the middle have on performance.
