FLEXI RAPTor led pcb rainbow

This project is submitted for

 • Flexible Circuit Contest

This project was created on 05/25/2019 and last updated 7 years ago.

Description

I 3d printed this Flexy raptor https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2901355 and want to add rgb leds for display. I did a first version to validate the concept using standart LEDs from a strip. The rendering is awesome but it added a lot af stiffness to the part and the placing and wiring is quite difficult. power and a arduino nano are comming out of the tail. The next version will use a flex PCB to add more LEDs, incorporate the micro controller to the PCB. 2 power will be possible, the first if a micro-usb cable from the tail, the second il from the hand to be able to run a cable through a rod when it lays on.
