This software project provides a Kalman-estimator-based control system in bare C++ on a small AVR board such as a Trinket.

It is intended to learn about Kalman estimators and to learn using contemporary C++ directly on a small microcomputer.

As a demonstration of the control's capability, I envision to control the positioning of a spring–mass system with it.
