Once ballerinas reach a certain age and skill level, it becomes time for them to go en pointe. When a dancer goes up en pointe, their ankle becomes significantly more unstable (than when on flat) and is more susceptible to injury. My goal is to create a device that can guide dancers to the correct position when they are en pointe. Essentially, there would be a few sensors on various spots around the ankle that would determine when the ankle is in the correct position and when it is not. Additionally, when the ankle is in the incorrect alignment, the device would physically correct the placement.
