Description

Introducing TELEBOT, a (partially) 3D printed telepresence robot we made out of junk we found in my closet.

Simply inject your friends' consciousnesses into the robot using a standard 3.5mm audio cable, then enjoy some quality time - face to face!

After possessing the robot, your friends can choose from one of three customization options (wizard hat, cowboy hat, or top hat) to really give it that "personal touch".

And, as an added bonus, TELEBOT glows in the dark.
Now, with TELEBOT, your friends can keep you company... even at night!

Details

Components

  • 1 × Arduino or Arduino-like board We used an Arduino Uno.
  • 3 × 5g Servo Motors One for each eye, and one for the mouth!
  • 1 × 3.5mm Auxillary Cable To carry the analog signal of your friend's voices.
  • 1 × Wind Up Chattering Teeth We bought these at Daiso about two years ago, knowing that someday we'd use them to build a robot.
  • 1 × Antique 1960's Doll Eyes These are supposedly from the 1962 World's Fair where the Space Needle was unveiled. Purchased at Archie McPhee's in Wallingford, Seattle.
