TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM ELECTRONIC SNAP CIRCUITS PRO
PROJECT # 265 - HIGH PITCH BELL
# 266 - STEAMBOAT WHISTLE
# 267 - STEAMSHIP
When the circuit is built (as shown) ,by pressing down the press switch ... the circuit generates the sound of a high pitch bell.
Going further to the other project ... by placing a 0.02uF Capacitor in parallel (directly across) the whistle chip ... this in turn, when the press switch is pressed down of course ... will cause the circuit to generate a sound some what of that of a steamboat.
Finally ... Instead of the 0.02 uf capacitor ... place a 0.1 uf parallel (directly across) the whistle chip .. it now sounds somewhat like a a steamship.
