Just kidding, of course -- I really like this. Very cool how it just turns itself off at the end. What would be the best way to change the time delay -- changing the number of lobes on the cycloidal gear, or changing the gear ratio?

Hi Dan!

Believe it or not, I did know you were kidding!

Thanks!  I wrote a Python script under the Fusion 360 Add-Ins dialog that generates a hypocycloidal curve from a user specified pin count and pin diameter.  The pin count determines the reduction ratio, and the higher the reduction ratio, the longer the time delay.  Changing the drive gear ratio will also increase / decrease the time delay.

Hi Dan!

I've spent the last 20 hours or so attempting a reply worthy of your comment.

And I just can't, you win!
