The planet earth is in danger of being decimated by natural and man-made disaster at any time. We need to create a means of preserving the human race by transporting a small number of people to a ready-made space station/vessel with sufficient tools to survive indefinitely and create resources and technology to further the goals of these survivor astronauts. The chosen group would need to be transported off-planet at very short notice in the event of a planet-wide catastrophe. This project would be put in place until such time as off-world human habitation becomes a reality. At present the human race could be wiped out at short notice and no contingency/survival plan is in place. Discussion about tools ,technology ,fund raising and selection of participants should begin immeadiately
