3d printer tronxy upgrade large size printer klipper

Description

This is my journey to upgrade a Tronxy x5sa-500 pro (cheapest 500x500x500 coreXY 3d printer) into a reliable machine.

This involve :
- Big structure upgrade
- Bigger X/Y motors
- Glass bed
- Remplacement of all the electronics by a skr board with tmc2209
- Remplacement of the hotend block
- Add of a PI with Klipper software
- Use an old tablet as screen

    Added an old Adroid tablet with Klipper screen, and it look so cool !
    Fixed it with a 3d printed mount.

    I have add a new hot end and modify the head to make it a direct drive. it's dirty for the moment but this improve drastically the prints quality

  • Remplace power supply

    The stock power supply is 300w, so the 500x500 heated bed take age to heat..
    I replace it with a 500w power supply and change the fan to a silent one.
