I wanted to play around with some LEDs so I decided to make a small LED key light. It has a warm white and cool white LED string. There are two buttons. By default, they are set to increase and decrease the total brightness of the LEDs. If they are both pushed, they change the color temperature by dimming one string of LEDs. The USB C connector in the schematic is not in this revision. The DC-DC converter is meant to have analog dimming, but I found the dynamic range to be too low. Instead, I removed the RC lowpass filter to directly drive the analog dimming pins with PWM. This gave me a very high dynamic range with no flicker or hum. Please excuse the dremel work on the case, I am not a mechanical engineer. I may update this in the future with a battery and charging circuit.
