I began this project during Covid. I came across the GO FLY competition and almost two years later I'm close to submitting for the win!
Win or not I've always been obsessed with minimalist flight and this project is a passion for me.
I was inspired by the hiller flying platform and IGOR is the current iteration of a gas powered design I had years ago. IGOR is all electric using the latest flight control software and carbon fiber.
My ultimate goal is to produce a kit form build that's affordable for the middle class. Its is flying now but I have not proven it with the wing assist I need to extend the range long enough to win the competition. I expect to flight test the full assembly in the next month.
