I will be taking apart a metronome and learning about mosfets to try and signal the sound to cutout or punch in. I hope to learn alot about 555 timer and I want to add a potentiometer to control the duration of cutout sound or punched in sound per trigger. The trigger may come from the speaker on the metronome unless I can trace it back to a better signal. I plan on using a buck boost but would like to avoid the extra cost. Comment with suggestions below.

later features would be leds to have a silent metronome with a magnet for musicians in a group maybe. or for those hard of hearing. ie so a deaf animator can sync sound or so just for looks or make each led wirelessly sync to stagelighting.

rhythm tracker with soft hard medium ticks tocks and knocks. a simple 16 beat or 32 beat looper with 3 sounds or customizable sound.


maybe xm or mod format... thats beyond my skill level.
