With phone chargers everywhere, most people literally have a (decently) regulated 5VDC power supply within arms reach at almost all times. This can be super handy for tinkering, and I made this board as an easy way to get 5V from a USB cable. It's just a Molex micro USB connector, that's all!

It would probably be good to add a bypass cap but the application I had in mind when I first build this had ZERO free real estate and the back of the board had to be flat.
