Hot-glue the driver board to the back of the LCD (insulate the bottom first!) and make it as thin as possible.

3D print the front of the case and the button inserts.

Place the inserts in the front of the case.

Screw the controls (except analog sticks and triggers) into the front of the case and use ribbon cable to hook up the buttons.

Press the LCD in the appropriate cutout. Use hot glue to keep it in place.

3D print the back of the case.

Screw the joystick(s) and triggers to the back of the case and solder ribbon cable to them.

Flash the Teensy LC with the joystick firmware.

Solder the ribbon cables to the Teensy LC (make sure to keep it relatively flat!)

Cut up a USB cable.
