  • Attach wrist band

  • Once the electronics have been installed you can now attach the wrist band to the watch case. The 3D printed case has small holes that allow the watch band pins to easily slot in. 
  • Woodworking

  • The base of my scale was mede of two 15mm 30 x 30 cm sheets of plywood. I made some whole using a screwdriver for passing the wires of the load cells, and for attaching the 3D printed parts.
  • CASE and Slider STL Files

  • You may have to make one or the other change to your 3D printer. Of course, the result will be even better if you have a SLS printer or you are using a print service, such as Shapeways.
  • Body Building?

  • This step is optional.I used a 3D-printer to make a custom body for my 'bot, but you could go any number of ways with this one.
  • Final result

  • After the silicone dried, I had to cut the ghost carefully (the silicone is very sticky so I couldn't just take out the 3D printed shape). Then I added a bit more silicone to smoothen the outline and I let it dry again. This is the final result!
  • Soldering and Wiring

  • Solder and wire everything. The case and PCB design guarantee, that no additional screws or fittings are needed: Everything fits together thanks to the custom 3D printed case and soldering the 8x8 LED display on the PCB will hold the PCB and the case...

  • Design

  • The watch is slick and cool looking. The casing is made from plastic, but it doesn't look 3D printed. It isn't water proof, since it has the micro sd card slot, the USB-C charging port and a few other stuff open on the case.
