Hi, nice collection of projects you are following, especially the Raman spectrometer. In another life, I could be an herbalist with a molecular still and HPLC, preparing ultra pure essential oils and fragrances. More towards this life, I periodically consider how to design an affordable DIY water jet cutter for glass. Unfortunately, even if all the components were available, you still need about 50,000 PSI for glass and this is beyond the reach of any reasonable plug in motor. A small gas generator running outside might work, however.
