Secure Scuttlebutt is a replicating, peer-to-peer log database. It is unique because it is possible to create a mesh of off-grid replicated nodes where information is "gossiped" over local Wi-Fi. When users move between Wi-Fi networks, the "gossip" moves with them, enabling friends (and friends-of-friends) to pass data along the social mesh.SSB is mostly used for social apps like chat, microblogging and file sharing. SSB's gossip protocol makes it well suited for social apps, and I think this same protocol would work well for sparsely connected sensors.See our Github page for more info. https://github.com/FoxDotBuild/WeatherStation
