"Sherobo" is a 12DOF four-legged robot that transforms into a sphere.
The appearance imitates fruits, and the watermelon design is especially distinctive.

There is a traditional Japanese game called "Suikawari (watermelon splitting)". It's a game where you blindfold yourself and break a watermelon with a stick.
This robot is unique in that it breaks watermelons on its own even when using a stick, and even resists running away on foot.

It has three linkages. It can be transformed smoothly.

You can play with small robots.

The transformation mechanism is fun. My hand gets eaten by a watermelon.

    Assembling the board

    Assemble the M5ATOM LIGHT and four servos.

    Assemble the servo bracket.

    Assemble the bracket and connect the wiring.

    Assemble the watermelon skin

    Attach the servo to the watermelon skin.
