Setup a new box, using a fogger. It's an 11l IKEA SAMLA box (in black, to avoid algae growth), with 5cm netcups. Inside is an airstone, and a ultrasonic fogger. I had some spinach seeds lying around, so I put them in some paper and placed them between the hydroton in the cups. Let's see how this works.

The first and so far only pepper turned red, so it's time pick it and do a taste test.

I decided to move everything into some metal shelving. Looks nicer and is easier to maintain. Also added a small fan for some airflow across the plants

Setup a small garden with a light. Four plants (pepper, chilli, cucumber, zucchini), in a deep water culture. There's a 30cm airstone in the water connected to a small airpump. The lamp is on a timer, and runs for 12h each day.

My netcups didn't arrive on time, so I of made my own.
