Well, I decided to build a laboratory power supply. Meh, boring stuff, you say. So, let's add rotary dial to set up the output voltge! A little bit better, but still average weekend project - just your favorite MCU, few DACs and there you go. Let's throw out all the digital stuff based on MCUs and return to roots, to old-fashioned TTL ICs and basic opamps circuits.

This project is just fun. I know I can buy 40USD laboratory power supplies on ebay. I'm doing this to entertain myself and improve my skills.

First steps

This project started a few weeks ago, in fact. I took rotary dial and partially breadboarded the dialing circuit.
No big deal, just a little bit of sequential logic and contact debouncing. The dialing circuit alone contains 14 ICs and it will grow up more. Stay tuned for more TTL ICs and detailed circuit descriptions.
