Win the Curiosity board!
Sophi Kravitz wrote 07/21/2015 at 21:59 • 2 pointsStarting tomorrow, 7/22, we'll be running a contest for all brand new Hackaday Prize entries that are using a Microchip part. That means PICs, power chips, op-amps, whatever. We'll be running the Microchip Curiosity contest until midnight PDT (-7: 00 GMT) on 8/4, when we'll check out all the entries and give the top contenders a Curiosity board.
The Curiosity is Microchip's newest offering - @Mike Szczys wrote a review on it: http://wp.me/pk3lN-Gfx
If you want to join the contest, add your project here and ask to be added to the Curiosity List!

Planning to use a PIC32 to drive a (teeny-tiny) xy-table which can also double as a business-card-style etch-a-sketch-alike-kit: #2.5-3D thing
Those programmable-logic bits in the newer PIC-8's look kinda useful!

Hi everyone! This is for brand new projects only. Since you're all working with Microchip products already, why not use the same parts to make a quick new project. Sometimes the best new ideas are motivated by a deadline. You have until August 4th ;)

so only projects that are younger than 7/22? If not please define brand new :)

nevermind, I saw a previous comment of you - for everyone I'll repeat: project created within the contest time.

Nope, I've just written a whopper of a review. Got a "pilot program" unit from Microchip for a cool new dev board. This post needs to be edited and should hit tomorrow morning.
