The application code written in Forth was completed and the circuit was also completed except for the power supply. It is a dead bug style. But this is a fail the copper pipes sound is not loud enough. It can't be used for a doorbell.
The servo-motor are as noisy as the pipes. Too bad, no more money and time on this project.
Today I tested the initial concept and it failed. The tubes can't be supported on cross bars it kill sound. I revised the concept. The copper tubes will be suspended by strings inside a frame as shown here.
Not visible on this drawing, there is a string at the bottom too otherwise the pipes would swing when hammered.
Copper tubing cut in length, wookpecker hammers sculpted and painted. The following video is a hammer test. The project use small SG90 servo-motors to animate the woodpeckers.
