Are you using these parts? Tell us to put you on the list!
Mike Szczys wrote 06/05/2015 at 20:46 • 5 pointsWe're looking for 2015 Hackaday Prize Entries that are using parts from our Sponsors so we've created 2015 THP Parts lists for Atmel, Freescale, Microchip, and Texas Instruments. Get on the list to ensure you're considered in our 3-week contest looking for the top 50 entries from each:
1. Enter your project! http://hackaday.io/had2015
2. Add one of these tags: "Atmel", "Freescale", "Microchip", "Texas Instruments"
3. Leave a comment here with a link to your project asking to be added to the correct list
The contest launches on Monday, June 8th and when it does this post will be active: http://wp.me/pk3lN-Fcc
Your project needs to be entered in the 2015 Hackaday Prize and be on one of the following lists by Monday morning, June 29th to be considered. It'll take us several days to do the judging but once we've finished there will be 200 projects recognized across the four contests. Good Luck!

Please add this project to the TI Part list: https://hackaday.io/project/6646-solar-beam-bristle-bot
I know this is too late for the vendor prizes. I've won more than enough for the TI round. :)

Hi. I guess it's too late, but I will try anyways. My project #Tote, affordable spider robot just got another optional part for it, which is Teensy 3.1 (https://hackaday.io/project/6050-tote-affordable-spider-robot/log/20344-using-teensy-31) so maybe that qualifies it for the Freescale Parts list?

Too late for this round of Sponsor Contests, but I suspect we'll be using these lists again before the deadline. You're on the list!

Hi Mike
My project is using Atmel chips (One Atmega328 and a series of Atmega32u4s).
At present they are taking the form of arduinos, hoewever later iterations may well do away with them in favour of custom, Atmega-driven boards:

Please add my project to the TI and Microchip lists. https://hackaday.io/project/5530-pass-pollution-analytics-shared-socially
I will be using a Texas Instruments LM2937ET-3.3/NOPB 3.3 volt Voltage Regulator and a Microchip LoRa Radio Module (for long range use and drone probing).
[I should already be on the Atmel and Freescale lists.]

Please add this to the Atmel list -> https://hackaday.io/project/6508-gps-receiver-for-nikon-d3100-cameras
It uses an ATtiny microprocessor from ATMEL. I will be adding more details about the project soon. I started the project about a week ago and just found about the contest yesterday.

Make sure you list your Atmel part(s) in the components section! :)
(I'm not 100% sure using the components section is a requirement, but either way, it's the clearest place to put them.)

Good suggestion. I have added a preliminary list of components. I'm still putting together some of the basic information on the project. It is in its early stages so I had not started formally documenting much of it until now. I'll be adding some photographs soon.
