Almost final before closing everything up ...Time for testing ! As you can see in the video, even powered with a 3S or 4S LIPO, it is heating up quite fast ;-)
Lots of contractor glue on the seams, countersunk the screw heads, and buzzed off the exterior protruding screws. Now everything is nice and sealed and quite sturdy. A bit of sanding before paint.
The white bracket shown holds the rPi and WiFi adapter in place. The MicroSD extension is really handy since it lets you reload the OS without having to take everything apart or have a hole in the case.
Secure the relay module to the bottom two holes in similar fashion. Orient the relay so that the male pins are on the right side. Now everything just needs to be connected up!
Glue the standoffs to the appropriate locations marked on the panels and wait for everything to cure. Then use pan head phillips to screw all of the components in place. You can use this image for reference.
