Hackaday.io could really use some cross-cutting classifications, coordination and curation. It is not enough to host scattered methods, ideas and efforts; they also need nurturing and deliberate effort. Seeds planted in the wild will grow unattended. But, a garden requires tending, watering, fertilizer, weeding and harvesting. How many projects on Hackaday are never completed, for want to a few basic skills, tools, ideas and effort? I think it is most of them, not truly reaching their potential. If you are looking and thinking about these various projects, perhaps you will see some patterns and ways that would help.
Thanks for the like, Aaron. Project description was updated today with new ideas.

Hi Aaron, Thanks for the like. If you are interested in building along I have a new set of boards coming out this week and I could send you one. I am not super happy with the flex circuits yet but I am hoping I can get to a point where they are rock solid. I do have a ton of the sensor boards as well. Let me know if you are interested. I just want more people hacking on this hardware so I can make it more robust.
Thank you for liking our "Proximity sensor for the blind".
