Also received the first parts for the DepthAI kit.

Gripper planning, I think a flex joint is needed which lets the gripper go up when on the ground.
Each claw is planned for be double jointed. The most suited micro linear actuators I could find was the LASF16-104D. Which also provides force feedback.
They have the follow specs:

K3lso wants to stand out from the dog herd!
Check it out and give me your comments!
And yes I am planning for a Jaw gripper. :-)
So. I have ordered two kits from Luxonis the DepthAI: USB3C with Modular Cameras. Which I will test.
I also have adjust the side cover to fit the cameras in a nice way (Removing the "spot" look)
The camera covers can be removed with the USB3C and the modular cameras. One of the main reasons I took this path, is quite simple. I can more easily integrate these into the covers. Changing lenses and adjusting the baseline is also better.
We will see how they work out! :)
so last days I haven't done much. Cleaning up k3lsos workbench and added a monitor
I have also been working to finalize the mid covers. I would say I am about 90% done with the mid-covers. I will continue to work on them tonight
So I think it's decided. I don't know why I didn't think about it before. Since this build is named after my deceased pug. This is the color it should have!
So I just got the parts for the robot stand today. Printed some mounts that wraps around the hip actuators. Which means I can just lift it on the stand and it sits there VERY firmly.
Perfect. Now it will be a bit easier to work on it :)
having hard time deciding on the final color scheme. They both looks good and both have +-
We shall see. What do you guys think?
Tonight's work: camera cover for the #realsense #d455 also added a few air ducts. Still in progress! :)
awaiting parts for the robot stand. Its a bit hard to move this around as it is. So in meanwhile I am just doing some more assembly testing

What a pity! Many of my friends are interested in four-legged robots, but they just don't want to make one themselves, so I'd like to ask if you have any plans to sell it.so I want to ask if you have any plans to sell it. And I have a question, which way is your robot controlled, and how is the control effect?
This is awesome. Do you plan any AI models to use for navigation. What chip do you use for the "brain" part?
Thanks! I am not quite there yet. :) for brain UP Xtreme i7C1-8565U with UP Vision Plus X ( 3x Myriad X)
Great project. Could you tell me how do you want to manufacture the cover of the robot. It will not be bent sheet metal, am I right?
Thanks! They will SLA printed. you are correct no sheet metal :)
What rubber did you use for casting the rubber? Did you use any mould release for the 3dp moulds? Awesome work!
What sort of Rubber product did you use for casting? Any brand?
wow this is awesome and beautiful, i like the evil black and red look even more then the boston dynamics look
Great project! Where is the video where it get kicked around by humans and then hunt them down? I guess the software and movement part is actually the hardest.
haha thanks! It will run cheetah mpc controller to start.
This is incredible stuff not sure why it doesn't have thousands of followers. Love seeing the updates!
Whoa, incredible! Of course the milled parts are spectacular, but the rubber parts that you cast look amazing. Looking forward to following along on what is certainly a long journey ahead ;-)
This project and your progress is incredible! Are you working full-time on this project? Or how do you realize this complex project this fast?
Thanks for the kind Words! Nah. only on my spare time as a hobby ( a few hours every night) :)
Great looking build! Have you got any ideas about the software you are going to use to control it?
Impressive work. Is this a commercial endeavour, is it open source? I can't even imagine how many hours of design and CAD work this took. Following!
At the moment only for fun :) But I guess it will be open source in the end. ;) Thanks!

Is this puppy ready for sale? I like the way he looks, but I don't know what his function is. Can it be compared with Boston?
