Hi Jonathan -- what happened to all of your other projects??

Hi zakqwy. Well, I got the impression that my projects are not right for this site. Mine tend toward the practical, don't have alot of pizazz, flash, or glitz. I guess they lack the proper 'bromance'? Anyway I'm surprised and I guess a bit pleased and maybe now a little embarrassed that anyone even noticed. I suppose its my general philosophy of limiting my digital footprint; why leave projects up that no one cares about and that I dont know if I have not put enough work into to be interesting or impressive, or the idea is just unappealing and stupid from the perspective of the audience here. Ultimately I suppose one should do this for ones own documentation purposes but I feel like an uninvited guest plastering a bunch of things no one else is interested in, thats just me. HTH. Hey Jonathan! I just wanted to say that your projects were some of the most inspiring ones I have seen in a long time. I didn't get the chance to engage with them in as much depth as I wanted to (yet), but seeing them around here always made me feel good. My main challenge with Open Source was always that people are great at replicating functionalities that already exist in the "proprietary" world, but very rarely dare to dream of something truly innovative and research-grade. And your projects were just that!

I'll be definitely checking neocoretechs.com for other crazy creations from your lab ;)

Also, don't feel bummed out by the community pressure here. People usually don't respect enough the things they don't understand, but that doesn't mean that they will never learn.

Anyway, at least you have one true follower here :)

Agreed with Aleksander on all counts. Your projects are great--always welcome here if you ever want to re-post them.

Wow, thanks guys. I find my positive outlook on humanity challenged at times but you guys delivered some uplifting words. I didn't feel pressure here as much as a cold indifference that made me feel like an unwelcome guest. I asked questions about list participation and such that just got deleted. Then that contest had all these reminder emails but never one saying you didn't make the cut so I had to ask like an idiot in a public forum and be told I should have noticed the list of 50 semi-finalists. So it was a combination of factors but if you guys are interested that other fuXXor $hit means nothing and I'll make sure to keep you in the loop. Now that I've done all the drudge work on the platform I'm building the part I really wanted to get to, which is the machine cognition via category theory, functors, colimits and the natural transformation, which, who knows, could lead to a machine that functions well enough for general purpose robotics. Anyway, thanks again guys, you're what its all about.
