I have found your CPU meter project and have tried to make it work. No luck even went to the 3rd page of Google. Any chance you have a step by step on this project more than what have already found.
Hey Matt! I've been a bit crazy with makerfaire and The upcoming Hackaday 10th anniversary, but I will post an update to the CPU meter project. The gist is that I used LCD smartie to output CPU utilization over a COM port, then pulled that into a simple arduino sketch.
Howdy. It seems like the way it works is someone from the official HackADay team posts an initial entry on your project and then they are your point of contact in the contest. Sorry if I misinterpreted this. The reason I bring it up is I was wondering if there is any notification that you are eliminated. I noticed the 50 semi finalists list and was wondering if one is not there if one should consider oneself 'eliminated'? Thanks
ok thanks, just wanted to make sure that the way to know you are eliminated is to not see yourself on the list. That was never explicitly stated anywhere before. Sorry if everyone but me 'got' that, I guess I have a bit of social palsy. I dont think I quite have what it takes for this site; my stuff is short on glitz and pizazz so I think I'm done here but thanks for letting me document ROSCOE on your site.
Your previous comment on my project page: Don't forget to upload some pics of the actual board when you get it (I'd love to see before and after you build them up)
